MAC Viva Glam have chosen Miley Cyrus as their latest ambassador to collaborate with on their signature lipstick and lipglass.
My girl Christine travelled back to visit family in Colorado, the USA in July and she was kind enough to pick up a few items at Sephora and M.A.C for me that I’d been itching to get my hands on.
At Sephora she picked up the:
- Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious Defining Crème for Fine Hair;
- Sephora Outrageous Volume Dramatic Volume Mascara in Ultra Black;
- Clinique bottom lash mascara.
- M.A.C Face and Body Foundation in C4.
Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious Defining Creme For Fine Curls
I had tried to pick up the Bumble and Bumble while in Atlanta earlier in the year at Lenox Mall but to my dismay they had sold out. I was blown away that the cashier was from Perth! I was like wait a minuteeeee…..you sound just like me?!! She was a real cool chick. If you’re ever in Atlanta make sure you check out Lenox Mall in Buckhead for a fabulous shopping experience.
Anyway, I am glad I persisted in picking up the B&B Curl Conscious Defining Crème for Fine Curls because this product is thebomb.com. I use this in tandem with my Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream and my locks never looked better. Perfectly formed ringlets with lift to my fine and rather volume lacking hair. It was worth the $28 USD but not worth the $60 AUD at Mecca. It is now my HG hair product. Oh B&B how I love thee!!
Cost- $28.00 USD
Sephora Outrageous Volume Mascara
The Sephora Outrageous Volume mascara is one that I will need a bit more time to ascertain whether I like it or not. Some days I love it, other days I loathe it. It is quite difficult to remove entirely and I almost always need my Sephora waterproof eye makeup remover to rid of all the mascara. I do get compliments on how voluminous my lashes look using this.
Cost- $15.00 USD
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara
Y’all know I love my Clinique bottom lash mascara. Miss C got me onto this genius product. I didn’t apply mascara on my bottom lashes previously mainly due to the fact it smudges and flakes off, not to mention it isn’t particularly easy to apply given the wand shape and size of your bottom lashes.
Clinique designed a bottom lash mascara with a tiny wand specifically designed for lengthening and defining those tiny bottom lashes that often get overlooked. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t smudge and works a treat at what it claims to do.
Cost- $10.00 USD
M.A.C Face and Body Foundation
I had heard so much about the M.A.C Face and Body foundation over the years and I finally committed to picking up a bottle which is a steal at $33.00 USD for 120ML – the size of 4 standard M.A.C liquid foundations. I mainly wanted it for summer due to it’s thinner, water based, water-resistant, buildable formula. It is also great for photography. It has a dewy, natural finish and from the limited times I’ve tried it – I love it.
Cost- $33.00 USD
