Like the look of Kerry’s curls (no I did NOT say Jerry Curl eek!) – read on to find out this “The Shire” stunner’s hair styling secret.
The new television show on Channel Ten “The Shire” has been causing quite a stir amongst viewers – being labelled as the local Australian version of “Jersey Shore.”
I personally like it, I watch it for what it’s meant to be watched as – for entertainment purposes. Let me be clear, I’m not about that life whatsoever – just like I never modelled my life against JWoww or Snooki from “Jersey Shore.”
The reason I started watching it was because of one character in particular – Kerry aka Kez Mama.
I saw sista’s hair, beautiful face and complexion and I instantly thought ‘hey, wait a minute – there’s a girl that’s representative of the sexy sistas on this damn show!!’
I promptly watched a few interviews with Kerry and it became very apparent that this South African goddess was the most sensible and grown one of the cast.
Check out an interview between Kerry, her bestie Tegan and Nova FM below:
She has no apparent plastic surgery, is down to earth and a natural stunner – but her most eye-catching feature of all – the most beautifully defined and healthy, bouncy looking curls I’d ever seen. Well, you KNOW I had to find out what Miss Kerry was doing to get her locks looking so damn fly. Keep reading to find out…
Kerry’s Hair Routine
You know the old saying ‘keep it simple,’ well Kerry’s got this phrase on lock when it comes to styling and maintaining her gorgeous tight curls:
1. Comb hair when it’s wet (assumingly a wide tooth comb);
2. Apply Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream and distribute through hair.
@MissFancye Only comb it when it’s wet and use a light leave-in conditioner to keep your curl. I use Morrocan oil leave-in cream for curls

That’s it folks! Judging by her curl pattern it looks like she lets it air dry as I do. I find it gives a much better natural and less frizzy look to your curls – plus it’s healthier for your hair omitting heat.
I also used the same routine as Kerry on my own hair with excellent results – however I add one step of adding a defining product and doing a twist out after adding MO.
However as of today, I have a new hair routine which has replaced my Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream which I will post about soon – and believe me it’s got me whipping my hydrated, bouncy curls back and forth like Willow Smith.
If you’re an Aussie girl and want to rock the signature Kerry locks – rush down to your local Stefan’s or leading hair salons to grab a bottle of Morroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream for $45 AUD RRP.
I know it sounds like a lot of money to invest, but you seriously only need one pump of product to do your whole head unless you’ve got really long hair – it will last a long time. You can apply it to wet or dry hair.
For my non-Australian readers you can pick it up online at Amazon below.
You can tune in to watch our curly sista Kerry on “The Shire” every Monday at 8:00pm on Network Ten.
